We received the news with sadness of the demise of Sdr Dahlan Ismail of Perlis, who passed away in Perlis on Thursday night 24 March 2011.
A friend, a colleague, a classmate who has been away from us for a long time, a person whom some of us keep in touch with off and on, a likeable person who used to live in Kuala Lumpur but who had decided to move back to his home State of Perlis some years back. Doing some farming he said.
It was only as if yesterday (some months back now) that he was at his daughter's wedding in Kuala Lumpur, and not many of us had the opportunity to attend the wedding. It was a very quiet affair.
We will miss him, his jovial and easy going attitude and his very down to earth life style.
May Allah SWT bless his soul.
